Work
I’m currently a software engineer at stripe where I’m working on improving the support infrastructure.
Before stripe, I spent 3.5 years at CRED where I worked across a lot of different projects and teams ranging from building platforms used by engineering teams within the company and also some cool user facing products like the CRED cashback wallet, I also worked on an early prototype for CRED money
I also had the opportunity to intern at Google with the Cloud Dataflow team where I helped prototype an experimental feature ContextualTextIO for the Apache Beam SDK.
This internship was quite the butterfly effect, I still can’t wrap my head that I only got this opportunity because I decided to wake up at 5 a.m. on a random Saturday to participate in code jam kickstart and got a decent rank which led to one of the recruiters reaching out. Pretty insane!!
Hobbies
Gaming
I’ve always loved video games, I spent most of my childhood beating 8-Bit villains from Contra, Metroid and other games whose names I can’t even recall anymore. After getting my first PC, the only thing I could make it do till I discovered programming was play games on it, I loved playing the Call of Duty series from what I can recall, that is until I started playing DOTA and then all other games were ruined for me because my monkey brain got addicted to a competitive game. I have over 3500 hours in DOTA2 alone, but more recently I’ve been playing less dota and some other good games like Hollow Knight, Zelda, Black Myth Wukong, Sekiro and F1 to name a few.

Basketball
I’ve been playing basketball since when I was 16 years old. I was fortunate enough to witness the 2015 & 2016 NBA Finals where lebron james and the cavaliers fought for a cleveland championship and consider myself lucky that I witnessed Kyrie Irving and Lebron James win game 7 on the finals live (no team had ever come back from a 3-1 deficit in NBA finals history). I stopped playing for a bit in college but I’ve been trying to play once a week since the start of this year.

Bouldering
I first went bouldering around Feb of 2023, but it was a one time thing because one of my friends had convinced me to try it out. To me bouldering then was an expensive sport for which I did not have the upper-body strength.
Last year (2024) my friend (the same one) convinced me to give it another try and I started liking it. At the same time this video from pewdiepie came out, where he talks about how post moving to Japan he’s been bouldering regularly (this was also a factor that got me hooked).
I’ve been trying to boulder twice a week since then because this also serves as a good workout for my upper body and core.
F1
Mehhhh, is this even a hobby? Fast cars go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr (or as my friend likes to say, fast cars go fein fein)
Apart from all the jokes, I had kinda the same view for F1, but after listening to my friends tell me about the engineering marvel that an F1 car is, I took it more seriously and although most race weekends can be a bore this sport sometimes offers great races and some insane drama for all of us fans.
And no, I did not start F1 just because of DriVe To sUrvIve, I also built a F1 Mercedes Lego which is one of the toughest legos if I’m not mistaken.

Thanks for being patient, I try to post here and add info whenever possible :)
